My back and left leg and hip pain start.ed at about 7 mo. Hx of increase in arthritic pain but I continued with Evenvity in hopes to protect my bones from further fx. Last shots in Feb. Still have pain and now a area on my left femur that indicates a stress fx. Wish I had stopped Evenity then. Now I walk with pain, a cane and can not do much. Age 76

I’m so confused. I have been diagnosed with sever osteoporosis and it was just assumed I would go on evenity. Went home, did some research, watched some videos, joined this group and now my head is spinning. Anybody got any helpful advice for me?

I feel the same! I have sever osteoporosis and am on chronic Prednisone. I have been on the fence about starting Evenity mostly because of side effects. I am very sensitive to meds. Don't know what to do! I just joined this group. I'm so glad to have this platform to read of others experiences.

Severe injection site pain. Throbbing headache for days and severe pain in both shoulders that took forever to improve. Nothing helped. With the adverse reactions I suffered from, I would never take another Evenity injection ever again. One was enough!

I just started on evenity and having side effects. This is scary. Dr said she'd try reclast but that is just as bad. So the eventity gave you femur fractures? All this meds seem to cause fractures or other severe side effects. I'm sorry you are going through this.

I had my first set in April and not sure if I'm going to continue. Having headaches, more pain in joints , back , legs, dizziness,, not feeling well at all. Dr said she'll try Reclast but that's just as bad and an infusion. Have you tried something else? These meds are bad.

You definitely have to have at least 1200 mg a day while you’re on evenity, spread out as you can only digest 500mg at a time. It also takes protein and collagen to digest calcium as well as Vitamin D and others. I finished my evenity with a bone gain of 11% in my spine and 1% in my hip. I’m starting Prolia but I’m going to stay on my new calcium nutritional regimen the rest of my life as it does seem to mitigate pain and help me sleep better plus the bone building. I hope everything finds what works for them

I have chosen not to take any Rx medications. I have already survived multiple fractures due to trauma. Incredibly painful rehabbing those fractures; however, I prefer to live out my twilight years without hurting my total body with these drugs. No one really knows the ramifications of taking most of these drugs long term. If my body has such negative responses, it is telling me “no”. I am sticking with my supplements and exercise. Most of these drugs treat the spine vs. the hip where I could use the most improvement. My spine is osteopenia and my hip is osteoporosis. Hope that you find the best solution for your body. We are all so unique. 😊
