I contracted severe COVID in May 2021. As of now (May 2025) I struggle with many of the same things you described. I recently started pulmonary rehab to try to strengthen my lungs, legs, and stamina, but it’s too soon to tell if it is helping. I have annoying post-nasal drip that NO allergy medication helps except Benadryl, but I hate taking that. Since COVID, I also have a high heart rate and my BP sometimes goes from normal to low (90s or 80s on top, 50s or 60s on bottom), and I have to just sit down. I get out of breath while standing, such as when making a meal. I get tired and winded very easily. It is very frustrating. My doctor is determined to get to the bottom of this and has ordered heart monitors, lung CT scans, pulmonary tests, heart scans, sleep apnea tests, etc., but nothing concerning has shown up except the COVID lung scarring that has been there for 4 years. But my blood oxygen is typically around 94-97 except when my BP drops and then it is 88-91% but recovers quickly when I sit down to rest. Also, swallowing is a bit more difficult after my long hospitalization in 2021, which I assume is due to the tracheaostomy, ventilator, etc. It really has been an uphill battle. I take supplements and have a prescription for a low-dose anxiety medication if I need it but I rarely do. I have come a long way, from waking from a coma and not being able to sit, walk, stand, or hold a fork, to getting myself into a wheelchair, to using a walker, to getting off supplemental oxygen, to walking short distances unassisted, to driving again. What a journey it has been! I’m THANKFUL for how far I have come, but it seems like I have hit a roadblock with the annoying sinus drainage and cough and BP issues. But I’m hanging in there and hoping pulmonary rehab helps.

I'm a long hauler with the active virus vibrating in my body and an array of other symptoms, but the dr prescribed Azelastine Hydrochloride nasal spray 137 mcg per spray... I do 2 sprays twice a day and it IS the only thing that let's me breath through my nose and stop the constant drip... if I miss more than 2 doses, the drip starts again. Hope this helps you as much as it has helped me❣️
