Wet Macular Degeneration: What treatment helps you?

You mentioned you have AMD and are scheduled next month for an injection? AMD is diagnosed as either dry or wet. If dry AMD, new drugs via injections came out in 2023 and given every 25-60 days I believe. Now if it is "wet" AMD then yes, eye injections every month or so, would be necessary to keep the condition manageable. I have wet AMD in both eyes and had to start injections and continue every month for about 6 months. I started with Eyelea. I responded so well that I was then given Eyelea HD which is stronger. I now receive injections every 10-11 weeks. It all sounds scary with a "shot in the eye" but honestly, the thought is worse than the actual procedure. It takes just a few seconds, and your eye will be numb.

I did not know there are injections for DRY AMD Would you please share the name of the drugs. Thank you

Thank you for sharing! I really hope that I respond well too! I’m not sure what they are starting me on but I will definitely have these on hand to ask about.

So as I understand there is not cure or reversal of this right?
