@julanned- You must be feeling totally lost at this point. I'm so sorry. It's horrible to feel hopeless. I have felt this many times in fighting my PTSD.
The PH tests for GERD is a very fussy one. What I mean by that is there are a lot of restrictions before you take it about what meds can be taken during the testing period, before and after. Did you follow them to a T?

You have not mentioned any blood work that you had, and you have mentioned that you had had infections before. Have they raised up their ugly head again?
I'm also wondering how long you took advair. Sometimes it takes a while for inhalers to kick in and sometimes is a trial to find those that are perfect for you. Have you tried others?

Hi Merry, thank you very much for commenting =) I can only imagine what you felt going through the PTSD...I will keep that in mind when I am feeling like complaining.
I did follow the restrictions to a T, mainly because I REALLY want an answer.
I took advair for about a month. I also tried singulair and flovent for about 2 months. Albuterol too.
I have had extensive bloodwork that addressed many angles. Everything from celiacs disease, several levels of rheumatological tests, hormone levels, infectious disease performed a lot of bloodwork too, even csf samples were taken. I had the typical allergy test, as well as 3 urine collections and some other bloodwork. I also tried flonaise and ceritizine.
The infection was staph and that was actually from one of the earlier sputum samples. At that time all of my lymphnodes were swollen too, which lasted for about three months, but they have returned to normal size now.
I also had an endoscopy, motiility test, barium swallow, and the PH test, and saw an ENT too who checked my sinuses.

Thanks!
