So why night before? What about prior to the shot? Why did the fracture happen, after the shots?

I only had minimal flash type burning in a month where the nurse didn’t bring the shot to room temperature, so I put it down as infusion reaction, which is a known thing that can be modified. Other than that I’ve only had very minimal sore arm and overall malaise, less than any of the vaccines I’ve had. I have an autoimmune disease as well as other conditions that affect me so I know definitely when a treatment affects me vs a disease flare

I want to know what side effects can result from Evenity injections

I gained weight immediately, about 10 lbs. And it distributed like a spare tire. Also had noticeable edema in thighs, upper arms and breasts. After two injections, I went off it and five months later, despite concerted effort, only just now losing the tire. Sucks.

Tymlos. Just started it, and am now experiencing a different set of side effects. Back spasms, headache, nausea. Am hopeful they will abate as I become inured to this new poison.

hi dusty, many on this site are starting Tymlos at lower doses to give their bodies time to adjust without suffering. We speculate that the standard dose may be a little high for most. Some report good results with 6 clicks.
The headaches and nausea might be reduced. The endocrinologist I see says that the headache is caused by the quick dilation of the blood vessels. The dilation can be reduced by something salty, caffeine and just higher fluid intake. The nausea may be caused by the sudden increase of serum calcium levels. This might be reduced by taking you usual dose of calcium much later than the injection or by a reduction of intake of calcium or vitamin d.
I hope this poison works for your bones. It is an excellent drug.

Hi, thank you so much for telling me this. My (male) doctor dismissed me entirely when I told him of my weight gain/edema and offered no suggestions for mitigation. Jerk. I had an eating disorder throughout my teens and at this late age, just can't tolerate being that uncomfortable in my own skin ever again. It's a quality of life issue. Am on Tymlos now, with its own side effects. Yay!
