Hello @hishamhussain, I can ONLY speak from my own experience .. but I also was diagnosed with asthma for years. I had many/various medication prescribed for many years. Misdiagnosed .. UNTIL my Pulmonologist had my sputum/mucus "cultured". The cultures diagnosed that I had MAI/MAC .. MYCOBACTERIUM AVIUM Complex Pulmonary Disease. I absolutely cannot tell you that is what your issue is .. but you might request that your mucus be cultured JUST to rule it out .. PLUS if you have ANY type of bacterial infection the culturing can guarantee exactly what antibiotic will knock out that particular bacteria. Hope this helps just a little!
