GI Disorder and Internal Shaking
Hi all. I'm a 21 year old South Asian female and I have been having GI issues for about five years--mainly along the lines of constipation. I do have bowel movements every day but it takes a long time & I am rarely fully cleared out. These GI issues are always accompanied by other health issues (gas, pressure in head, etc). Recently, some scary new conditions have manifested: In the past few weeks, there have been times where my heart starts beating wildly and very fast. Sometimes, when I'm tired and constipated, my entire body feels like its vibrating internally; the shakes aren't visible but it feels like all my muscles are quivering. At this point, I feel a constant shaking/quivering within my body, especially in my heart cavity.
I have had TWO EKG's and both came back normal. All lab tests for diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol, etc came back within normal limits. I am very concerned about this internal shaking. My dad says he found something about how GI disorders can impact muscoskeletal system and since the heart is a muscle, it's contracting and being affected. But I wanted to know if anyone here can help!!!!!!! If anyone knows anything at all please please please let me know!!!!!

Hello I have chronic stomach inflammation with ulcer and I have always had that pressure in head but I recently stared having achy legs and arms and feel this internal vibrating sensation I’ve felt it everytime I get esophagitis also have tinnitus deep uuuu in my left and hissing all started after ulcer and gastritis came about
I had sudden onset stomach inflammation, but no ulcer as far as I know, and it came along with tinnitus and also Gerd, which I had never had before, and then a few nights ago I felt that internal vibrating sensation that you were describing. I looked up the symptoms online and found that they could be from long Covid. I wasn’t aware that I ever had Covid, but in mid November, suddenly out of nowhere, I was sick for a couple weeks and couldn’t eat, and had terrible diarrhea. My stomach is still not right. I have no idea what’s going on. I Have read that Gerd can cause tinnitus. I would think esophagitis is the same thing, right? I’ve been thinking of going to a clinic and having a colonoscopy or something because I can’t figure out what’s wrong. It’s really seems to be getting better, but not fast enough. Plus, I’m exhausted all the time and having insomnia. I hope we can figure out what’s going on. Let me know if you get any info and I’ll try to do the same. I hear you and I feel your pain! It’s dreadful not to be able to eat. 😩💕
Hi I know how u feel it’s about healing the inflammation in our gut , our microbiome plays a huge part , I had Covid also I wouldn’t be surprised but I caught this years after Covid I feel just healing my gut I can get better
Hi were you able to figure out what is was in the end?
I’m not sure who you were asking, but I’m still having the vibrating, shaky feeling and in fact, it’s getting worse. I did read online that if you put your food in a blender, which I’ve been doing, it can spike your blood sugar because you absorb carbs too quickly. I don’t eat sugar, but I do eat a lot of carbs. They’re all healthy, but still. So it could be partly that and partly stress. I have finally given in and made an appointment at a gastroenterology clinic, which I really don’t want to do because traditional medicine leaves me cold every time but I’m gonna see what they say. Good luck to everyone on here!
I have also felt internal shaking and extreme fatigue after eating at times. I don’t have any diagnosis yet but deal with diarrhea, significant weight loss, loss of appetite, and nausea.
Can u send me a message to stay in touch
Have you been able to find out what was causing your symptoms?
Hi Tony. Are you still having the internal shaking? I haven’t had it as much and I think it might be my blood sugar. I’m still dealing with terrible stomach issues though and I went to a G.I. clinic and they want me to have a colonoscopy and an endoscopy And I was supposed to go have a CAT scan with angio a couple of days ago, but I was feeling so crummy I missed the appointment. I don’t want to do any of them, but I will. I need to eat! I hope you’re doing OK. Let me know.
I would go. I have to force myself to rebook the many appointments I cancel due to not feeling well. I didn’t go to the GI until I was bleeding dark and it was a very large polyp in my stomach that was benign but explained my bad stomachaches and it took a long time for the inflammation to go away.
I kept canceling my 3rd colonoscopy long after it was due and denying the GI’s advice until he said I was a few months away from Stage 1 cancer of the fastest growing most deadly form of colon cancer after they dissected the growth.
I ignored the warning sign in my eye until two doctors said I had experienced a TIA and was definitely going to have a major stroke as both carotids were 70% blocked.
I weigh 117 at 5’1 age 64.
I absolutely hate going into the drs because I usually hear something new. But I’ve learned if I put it off even a few months it’ll be life changing.
I encourage everyone to do preventative care. It’s like the old saying, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”, and it’s also cheaper
