staph colonization?

I have pseudomonas colonization. First diagnosed six years ago and initially we hit it pretty hard with PICC line IV antibiotics as well as oral antibiotics. Also began inhaled Tobramycin. (I was also dx'd with MAC and bronchiectasis.) No more PICC line after the first one but occasionally do oral antibiotics if my symptoms become a bother. I am dedicated to twice a day airway clearance using 3% with 7% sodium chloride together. I also use the percussion vest once a day. I have not been on inhaled Tobramycin for a couple of years. Unless they come up with something else that I (or they) feel it is beneficial, I'll stick with this current regime. Best of luck.

@fdixon63,
Thank you for sharing your experience. It sounds like you have it controlled. Congratulations!
Dr. Winthrop said that 30% of people have staph colonization. It is very common. But I have not heard anyone in our group and another support group, which makes me wonder what a special case I am having. Most people don't have symptoms even if they do have staph colonization. But I do have which leads me to a sputum every time. I do hope eventually I can get rid of it by airway clearance and some medication.

Thanks again.

which IV did they use and for how many days and what oral do you occasionally use?
