@hopefulandpositive What happened with proton vs photon radiation? Or what was your treatment plan when you got one? Thanks!

Hi, we ended up doing 4 weeks of daily photon therapy with chemo and he finished his last treatment June 2024 (last June). He hasn't had a change in size of the tumor since then and they have been doing CT every 3 months. We did reach out for a second nanoknife opinion at University of Iowa and am glad we did as Dr. Chan said he would have bled out during the operation as he is not a good candidate for nanoknife due to the collapsed veins. He said nanoknife works for some patients but not an option for others.
