Thank you Colleen, especially for posting the link (though I think this thread kind of got sidetracked by a spinal surgery query). I already eat pretty healthfully and am in pretty decent shape. I can probably work harder at that, but my high cholesterol is unfortunately hereditary, although I was lucky to have a decent cholesterol profile until after menopause.
