What is p ff line? I have MAC and pseudomonas. I had to take cipro antibiotic for awhile and it help, then, I had coughing up blood, so the cipro got rid of that. I just do bevespi now after starting to cough alot after blood went away. I was told pseudomonas is a serious and complicated infection. What do you know about it.

Peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) line, there is a full explanation here on this website but not sure where. I had the PICC line for two weeks but pseudomonas is a stubborn bacteria and came back. I have an Infectious Disease Dr. and she finally contained it with antibiotics. Mine did colonate in my right lung so I have to try to avoid getting another infection. Not sure how that is done. If you had cipro and that caused issues for you, I SUGGEST you question the use of Levaquin if it is prescribed to you. They are from the same fluoroquinolone family. My Dr. prescribed both and I now have lasting side effects. What is MAC?
