Sarcoid and prednisone

Recently diagnosed with sarcoidosis. Lungs and lymphnoid abnomen and spleen. Good I know if it’s anywhere else. Would it have showed in pet scan? PREDISONE is hell. Any alternative to recommend. I was in 40 now 20 and I feel
Like I’m
Going crazy. Should I be worried this is going to kill Me since it’s in my lymph system a well as
Lungs. Really scared. It’s ruining my life.

for 6+ years now and am doing well . It is usually the first line of defense for autoimmune diseases. One thing, ask your physician for a referral for a DEXA scan (a specialized x-ray of your hip bones). It will give you a baseline of your bone health since prednisone is known to cause osteoporosis.
