Is anyone else dealing with a neurogenic cough?

I live in Minneapolis. I just tested at Mayo again and the pulmonologist said I now have persistent severe asthma according to my chest scan and blood work. So now I’m using a nebulizer, inhaler, and another round of prednisone. We’ll see how this all works because the cough now can get totally out of control and I go into panic because I can’t breathe when it won’t stop. I pray this works.

I got diagnosed with the Asthma really first. I had never heard that cough was a sx of asthma. The way I explain it, I have 2 coughs, and one seems to be asthma, and yes the meds help THAT cough. My insurance co made me try a different inhaler than the Trelegy I had been on for 3 years and I thought I was going to die. Couldn’t breathe and had several severe asthma attacks which I had never had before. Scared me. I take the trelegy and singulair for that.
