I meant to mention I only took one pill of mirtazapine and immediately stopped since the hunger symptoms started immediately and I got scared. Since you haven’t been on it about a month, you will want to gradually wean off it. It is ideal to work with your doctor but you may be able to do it yourself.

I hear you! I have been taking Mirtazapine for almost 20 years. I just have had enough. I gained so much weight, can't enjoy the foods I like because I am always worried about weight.
I will say it helped for a time. But then I think it just became a habit. I've been cutting pills for awhile and am now down to 1.75 mg. Soon to be off completely.
I think in retrospect that these drugs have their place. I just think we take them for too long.
Hope you can get through this time without too much trouble.
