Has anyone reached the point where you have had so many ERCP procedures that have not solved the stricture that your team is looking for another solution to this problem? And if so what other procedures did they try?

@brin we are there...! My husband just had his ninth ERCP/stents replaced in the past 11 months. It has been a very stressful journey. He is going through the many many MANY steps for a liver transplant, and while finishing up the chemo/radiation, he developed sepsis from his stents. It was SO scary. He has had infections before, but the chemo brought his immune system down so much that he crashed in a big hurry. Maybe two hours? I took him to the Mayo ER- in hindsight I maybe should have called an ambulance? I don't know. He spent four days in-patient and just got released yesterday afternoon. His team believes a transplant is his only real cure.
