My sympathies Every man has his own recovery and reactions

Granted I had HoLep (neck preserved ) which is associated with lower risks.

Sorry, as we all are for you, however ,this is not the case for everybody after a prostate procedure ,so he is not necessarily doomed, just because you feel you are , or you had post affects.

I can’t explain how , but some men miraculously been able to go back to normal. I was suffering from retro for over a year. No longer.

@lovethealoha Has anyone checked for tissue regrowth. If RE stopped, I would assume some tissue grew back. It shouldn’t regrow after HoLEP. I’m very curious because I’m scheduled for HoLEP and had RE from taking tamsulosin (Flomax). I hated it. Orgasms stopped as soon as it started. Hoping it’s different after HoLEP. Not chemically induced. Thought about aquablation, but HoLEP has long time positive results. I have thickening of my bladder wall and bladder stones. I need to do something. I have some intravesical protrusion into the bladder. Don’t think aquablation will be worth the risk of leaving tissue behind and still have a chance of RE.
