The endocrinologist wanted me to try Evenity, but my insurance would only approve Forteo because I had it before and it was effective. I am grateful for that, because I was nervous about Evenity. I've only had initial side effects with Forteo that have now completely passed at the 6 month mark. Taken at night, it is very doable and has been very well researched as a medication for Osteoporosis .
