Can I take Provera and Progesterone together to stop bleeding?
Can I take Provera 5mg and Progesterone 100mg together for a few days to stop irregular spotting? It's the weekend and I can't ask my obgyn over the weekend. My skin is feeling irritated from the spotting.

Many medical practices have someone on call when their office is closed. I'd like to suggest that you call your gynecologist's office number and you will find out that way if their office has someone on call. If that does not work is there an urgent care clinic you can visit near you?

4 ReactionsI'm so sorry that you are having this problem! Helen offers a good suggestion about calling your doctor to see if they have someone on call to answer your questions. Also you might just try calling your local hospital emergency room and asking their advice. They may have a doctor or nurse on call that you can talk to. Continue to take your medications the way the doctor prescribed. Taking the two medications together could cause other problems. For your irritated skin, you might put an antibiotic cream like Neosporin on that area or just plain Vaseline. They both should soothe the irritation.
