There is an entire thread on Mayo forum re pseudo-pheo, aka paroxysmal hypertension. One component of treatment is anti-anxiety medication and/or anti-depressant which helps treat anxiety. It has been a game changer for me.
Pseudo-pheo and pheo are different, of course, but the symptoms are identical. I'm suggesting that during this difficult time you may be helped by anxiety meds. The idea that your mind and body are not intricately connected is not really how it works, as I am finding out.
