Just found out I’ve had a silent mini stroke!

I’ve had 3 cerebral small vessel strokes 6 months ago and they spotted 3 older strokes as well. I seem to be ok except for the anxiety and my left leg is a little weaker than my right. Some head confusion but this could also be from the anxiety. I see a therapist for the anxiety and have had 10 weeks of vestibular PT for the tension headaches which are now easing off. I exercise everyday with some cardio 3 times a week, upper and lower body 3 times a week and I walk every day mostly in the house. I take one day of rest. It has helped quite a bit. I am 79 yrs old Good luck to you!

I am also 79 and sometimes think the doctors don't take me seriously when I tell them I know something is wrong, just can't describe it. I am constantly feeling lightheaded at spiritic moments. It doesn't last long, just comes and goes just as fast. They have found that I have small vessel disease in my head but tell me it is nothing to worry about, say that 90% of people my age has it. When I have done research on it, it doesn't sound like nothing and could cause a stroke. Still doing more research on it. I am sure I have had several mini strokes that just haven't shown up. I also have been having trouble with my balance for some unknown reason. Doctors too tell me this is normal for someone my age. Getting tired of doctors telling me it is my age.
