Hi there, just saw your post regarding long term hypoxia..I , too, had elevated labs that necessitated a bone marrow biopsy to rule out polycythemia vera..after 10 years, at 2 cancer clinics, it was finally determined I have chronic hypoxia, and that has caused secondary polycythemia, not polycythemia vera, the blood cancer. I am glad I declined the cancer treatment, as I questioned their diagnosis, and prevailed !
