Surgeon A has the same view as you regarding 10-day catheterization. He said they've found it works better with the Retzius-sparing technique in terms of healing and continence.

I'm sure I can request 10 (or 14) days with Surgeon B, he just said they typically do seven days.

I’m pretty sure that both surgical approaches are similar; they both are designed to preserve continence.
I’m just baffled as to why a cancer surgeon would not dissect at least one node on each side; if they are negative (path can be gotten during surgery), then no need to move on and take more.
