Have you been to an ear, nose and throat specialist and have you had a recent hearing test?

Do you notice any triggers that make it worse? Do you have high blood pressure? Do you sleep well? Do you smoke/vape? Do you drink coffee? Do you feel stressed more recently?

Do you have any other symptoms like headaches or neck pain/tension?

I’ve had tinnitus for many years now, and I have slight hearing loss. My triggers are barometric pressure with the weather changing and higher levels of stress. They both increase the severity. However, sometimes, for no reason at all, the loudness decreases. Hang in there.

Sounds about right. Stress is a major cause for me as well as being in a loud environment such as a theatre. I’ve had tinnitus since my early 20’s. Woke up one morning in college and there were bees in my ears. That 50+ years ago. I’ve learned to live with it but it’s not easy,

You’re right. Never easy. The part that bothers me most is knowing I will never have silence again.

Hang in there. We’re all in this together. 😊

It is very difficult I can't think about how difficult it is because if we start thinking about it then we'll feel like we're out of control and there's nothing we can do about it technically except pray so just let you know that I know what it's like I'm here I'm still having the I'm still having the tinnitus and they're ready to go everyday everyday and it's just difficult so I pray for me I pray for us I don't know what else to do but God is good bye

You may want to go to the website of The American Tinnitus Association. http://www.ata.org for information on research, experiences, etc.

Tinnitus is often associated with hearing loss, but not always.

ATA often provides information about research programs that are looking for people to be a part of the studies. Perhaps being a research subject might interest you.
