I echo Justin, no need to apologize!!
My experience was amazing and trust me when I say, you will learn many life skills and other techniques to help manage your pain. No need to worry about sitting in one spot for very long because your day is filled with many appointments. Here is a link that will help explain.
http://www.mayoclinic.org/departments-centers/pain-rehabilitation-center/overview
Goals
The primary goal of the Pain Rehabilitation Center is to restore functioning
and improve quality of life for persons suffering with chronic pain. The
program emphasizes the discontinuation of opioid medication for the
treatment of chronic non-cancer pain and the return to a fulfilling lifestyle.
Other important goals include:
• Return to regular daily activities
• Increase physical strength, stamina and flexibility
• Reduce use of pain medications
• Minimize pain behaviors
• Learn stress management techniques
• Return to gainful employment
• Resume leisure and recreational activities
• Improve interpersonal relationships
• Reduce reliance on health-care professionals, with improved ability to self-
manage chronic pain

I pray you find relief soon.

Thank you so much for the information. How long ago did you go. May i ask what the source of your pain is?

2003
1999 I was in a car accident that resulted in post concussion syndrome, severe daily migraine headaches, broken collar bone, directions to the start of manubrium joint resulting in over 100 bone fragments in my breasts and chest was, seizures, broken foot, soft tissue damage over 75° of my body. Chronic pneumonia from shallow breathing secondary to the sternal pain. Every rise and fall of my chest would splinter or break off more bone from the sternal joint. Or pinch nerbes. For 3 years later still no healing and constant pain. The docs said sternal fractures "ALWAYS HEAL". Trust me NO they do not!!!

Went through the pain rehab clinic, after 3 years of trying EVERY TREATMENT IMAGINABLE, that's when we discovered the answer to the healing process. I learned coping skills and techniques. Alot of education, We did physical and occupational therapy. I had therapy multiple times before but the program is way different than your typical therapy any where else.

We ended up removing the sternal manubrium joint along with part of the sternum resulting in the 2,3,4th ribs are floating. I take NO pain medication. No headaches

It will change your life!!!
