Just remember, you did not fall or get hurt so the pain is from the infusion! It is a lot like over doing an activity. Rest when you feel the pain and try not focus on the on it; even if it is talking to someone on the phone or playing a game of solitaire! My shoulders and especially my left foot burns so bad at times and I worry about how I am going to be able to mow my own lawn. I try not spending a lot of time focusing on this; I need to do it and that is that. Spending time focusing on how I am going to be able to mow my lawn is emotionally draining and I get discouraged. Therefore, I move away from it to something completely different. I know I probably sound a little off my rocker but I strongly feel that our brains are extremely powerful and are there to help protect us. Pain has always been an alarm to the brain to help protect us; we need to help the brain realize this pain is safe as we have not been physically injured to create this pain. Therefore, this pain is okay so the brain doesn’t keep triggering our thoughts that were unable to do anything due to the pain. It’s hard to explain, but I honestly now days know I am hurting but it don’t stop me from doing what I need to get done and hopefully the Reclast eventually will have less impact on my daily life! Lots of Good Luck! It does suck, but we will get through this and be able to enjoy life again!

I am better WAS a very active person
Since my Reclast infusion I am confined to a chair with brutal pain in my bones: femur and thoraxic spine
It is sharp burning oppressive

My endocrinologist never told me about these side effects
Only a flu symptom for three days!!!!!

Now it can’t get out of my system and my life was completely disrupted
No one takes responsibility
