Chronic painful muscle knots, widespread

I have similar diagnoses and background. Was diagnosed with fibro at 25ish, am 37 now.

I had knee pain and all my imaging showed a "anatomically perfect knee". After getting evaluated by PT, it turned out to be that I have a weak hip flexor which causes pain in my knee because it is having to work harder to compensate for my weak hip.

Have you gotten any relief?

Unfortunately not. When I have massages (which I consider medical procedures) the therapists all comment my entire body is tense and in knots. And as they massage, it is terribly sore...but in that weird way, it feels "good".
I continue to have all the medical conditions associated with fibromyalgia, nothing has gotten better.
To be honest I have been dealing with other health issues and just don't seem to have the time to get a definite diagnosis.
Right now fibro is the least of my problems. Just diagnosis with breast cancer in both breasts. Thankfully caught early but will be having a bilateral mastectomy. Lumpectomies not doable due to heart disease, can not have radiation. Will not have implants b/c of multiple health issues and don't want to take the possible chance of complications.
The curveballs never stop coming in life, no matter how old you are...
Continue with your PT, very important. It will most certainly help you!
