Sing away, anything that works is ok. I have had tinnitus since the 80's, first started after virus in inner ear caused serious bout of vertigo. This last year, I am awakened by voices, low like from another room. Murmurs. Like a radio on very low, no music, just voices. At first I actually got up and looked to see if tv was on somewhere. I can remember my Dad complaining of the same thing and we all thought he was forgetting to turn off his radio. He also had what they called "hardening of the arteries. ?? However, I also started on Eliquis, a blood thinner before this type of "tinnitus" started. "Hearing voices" however muted is not something you want to tell anyone, right? But, if indeed the tinnitus is a symptom of an arterial problem the cardio docs don't seem to know about it. I want to blame the drug as it has done a real number on my skin, hair and nails since starting it. Anyone else out there have similar symptoms or drug reactions? Keep sharing and eventually someone will come up with a "cure".
