My pain in SI started after driviving for 4 hrs or so with right leg way extended. This was in 1983. Car had bench seat. Husband was asleep. He had big job interview and needed a nap. I didn’t want to awaken him. Got out of car with hip pain and sciatica. Back and hip never the same. I did have my daughter in 1980 by c section. I was also tboned by in car accident atvage 18. Never went to have anything checked because I had no pain or obvious injury but looking back it may have started spine/ hip issues. Broken tail bone in 7th grade. I had sciatica afterbthe long drive for 4 yrs constantly. Had 2nd baby in 1988. All pain cleared. Dr. said cortisone in
Body is extra high in pregnancy and probably healed it. 2 yrs later it returned after I arranged some furniture.. not heavy .. on deck. L5-S1 involved. Had all kinds of therapy. A machine called VAX-D helped with muscle relaxant and ibuprofen. 3 rd c section in 1994. Pain during. Got had. Took prozac and Valium for it. Pushed on. Had many mri’s/ scans. Called it muscle/ w L5S1 bulge. Used chiropractor therapy.. electric pads like giant tens/ ultrasound. Kept me going. Am now 69 and have what the Dr. called “ normal/ regular low spine deterioraton in all lumbar. I unfortunately had to have 2 very lengthy prolapse surgeries and hysterectomy in 2021. Severe scars and endometriosis/ fibroids. Had been in menopause 13 yrs. I now am trying a nerve block. Dr. Going in at tailbone area.
