What’s next after Evenity?

What’s next after Evenity? Just had my 8th shots of Evenity (no big issues, or side affects) have 4 more shots to go BUT want to start the research on what’s next. It’s recommended Prolio, I have been reading major sites for info and there are so many scary stories about Prolio. I have severe osteoporosis and high BP only. If there are any previous Evenity patients, could you share what you went on next, why, results and or any issues. Thanks in advance

My doctor recommended reclast after Evenity to lock in gains. I will not have another bone scan until 1.5 years from now. I prepped with lots of water and 1-2 Tylenols before the reclast infusion and had no problems. Spine t score results after Evenity went from -3.7 to a -2.9. Hope this helps and I hope reclast works.

I am taking Evenity now, 4th injection coming up. No problems so far.
My rheum initially recommended Prolia: I did not want it. I did research and asked about Reclast (he said okay). So as of now (unless I change my mind) I will try Reclast after Evenity. I will keep reading this forum for information which has been helpful. I am coming around to realizing it is chronic illness and will need treatment the rest of my life. I just hope I can get some breaks in treatment. I don't worry about it as much as I did. I feel hopeful that I am getting some treatment.

I and 74 and finished Evenity in January, My endocrinologist’s plan was on to Prolia last February probably for two years (have been on it before with no issues), and then I will go to Reclast (also had it before with only fluish symptoms first 5 days after) for a year or two to transition to, hopefully, a “drug holiday.” Good luck.
