Severe Ozempic Side Effects
I am new to taking ozempic and just started 5 days ago. The prescribed dose was 0.5 mg and I have been so sick ever since I injected that dose.
I'm experiencing nausea, dry heaves, and most unexpectedly, severe anxiety. I feel like I'd like to crawl out of my skin and can't wait till this drug clears my system. I can't eat, but I know it's not healthy to totally forgo essential certain vitamins and minerals. I snack on pretzels because they are bland and have salt.
Has anyone else had an extreme anxiety and sickness response to starting Ozempic?

I started on.25 mg of Ozempic, then a month later, went to.5. 1 month later, I went to the E/R with acute pancreatitis. 6 weeks later, I am still trying to soothe my , pancreas, and hoping I don't become diabetic which can be a complication of pancreatitis.
You are not the only one. I started googling about it and found many having issues with running noses and terrible post nasal like you and myself . Also many upper respratory infections . Me i use to get them once every 9.years or si .Fir me 3 over the last 12 months .Started about 6 months into starting ozempic. You bring this up with the doctor - Oh this isn't a side effect. They are wrong too many have this after starting ozempic or wegovy. I just wrote to novo nordisk about the side effects I am having beside upset stomach and other gastro issued
I just started to increase my dosage and with it came the most horrific burps/farts. I want to push through because I'm having the results I want, but it's really gross.
I was tapering off of another anti anxiety med so I thought my increased anxiety was from that but when I quit taking Ozempic I felt so much better. I am now sleeping better and my anxiety is better. I had extreme nasal congestion too! Now to find something for my increased blood sugars!
Hi, Sorry but I don't take Ozempic, but do take Moujaro. It has several of the same side effects. Many times when I can't eat due to nausea, stomach cramps or just plain don't think food would stay down or in, I live off of dried bread with nothing on it, sometimes crackers and at other times just a little apple sauce. It does help to lower A1C numbers but feels like torture. Thankfully the doctor can prescribe something for nausea so maybe go that route if you need to. Feel better and have a blessed day.
I took low dose of Ozempic for 2 months, and found myself in the emergency room with pancreatitis! I think this med is extremely dangerous.
I had the same side effects you just wrote about. I stopped to mine because I was thinking so sick all the time although I did lose a significant amount of weight.
I have a friend who ended up with gastroparesis because of Ozempic. Her dr even increased the dose but told her that it would make it worse. She had to have a stomach pace maker placed.
I also got these painful lumps on both my shoulders on each side of my neck. I thought it was stress, but since I stopped the Ozempic they started to soften although they are still there. I am also itching all over my body and I get these gagging spells like I am going to vomit but all I do put out is thick saliva. I mean thick, has anyone had these side effects happen to you ?
God Bless all of us.
Stop it, it's not worth you health being in jeopardy. I had to stop my Ozempic, I don't want to end up in the emergency room and having to leave my wife alone.
