Please let me know if someone is using LDN
I really need to find a specialist in New York who treat Sjögren’s disease with Low Dose Naltrexone. In United Kingdom that is the treatment specialists give to patients and I really would like to try. Thank you for your help!

I have been considering trying LDN for RA, but I read it may cause fatigue. I stopped my methotrexate and humira because I was getting very little relief, and i also wanted to have more immunity when I go on an 11 day cruise in June.
Does anyone have any feedback on LDN and fatigue? I'm already dealing with fatigue and possibly Sjogren's. I haven't discussed with my doctor yet.
I use it in addition to Methotrexate and Cosentyx. I can’t say I’m any more tired on the LDN than without. But I am definitely less tired on all three drugs than I was from just the disease itself.
PS - Pemgarda is available to those who are immunocompromised either due to an underlying condition or immunosuppressive drugs. It would offer you some protection against Covid.
I've been taking it for about 6 years (for autoimmune diseases such as Crohn's, PMR and Sjogren's) and I can't say I have experienced any fatigue. I feel very certain that it works for Crohn's. Can't tell about the others. But since I have been symptom and medication free (except for the LDN) I feel pretty good about it. I take just 2 mg- because 4mg didn't make any difference. I say try it carefully. Start with a low dose and work up. And there is lots of research on to look at. Good luck!
Thanks for letting me know. I hadn't heard of this. I'll ask my doctor about this when I go next month. This trip will likelybe my last big one, and it would be unfortunate to become ill from it!
Thank you for your feedback on this. I will definitely ask the doctor about trying it, and I'd love to have some relief before I take my big vacation!
Mine siarted to work the 1st night I took it. I think I really needed it. And the dreams...so many like a Broadway musical. I can't predict how it will act for you. It may help in ways we can't imagine. Good Luck!
That's fantastic! I enjoy entertaining dreams. If my doctor doesn't get on board with prescribing LDN, I'll try one of those online consultations.
Yes, I started to use LDN about 3 weeks now, still to early to tell but I am sure is the best option. Good luck!
Yes! I take it for Crohn’s disease. It seems to help with inflammation and it took a while to find the right dose. I’m at 5mg. I took it at night and had the most vivid dreams, I loved it! After awhile it just kept me from falling asleep so I switched to a morning dose. Been on this for about 4 months.
