Hello, Stumbled on this site and am glad I am not alone. I have been struggling with this for 4 years now. I found my ear fluid, itchiness then crusty to be food related. I believed that as soon as I started taking diabetics meds my ear issue started but it could be just old age. Or allergies, which I never had before. I have been using cortisone that helps better than my prescription Hydrocortisone. Got a painful ear infection after eating potatoes salad two days in a row - Ugh. It was on my list of foods to avoid. Obviously lesson learned the painful way.
