Hi, @elfergin - dealing with digestive issues since you were little sounds like a lot. And getting no answers or hitting dead ends would indeed be frustrating.

I've merged your discussion with this one here which is also about getting an appointment at Mayo Clinic for digestive concerns. I thought this way you could connect with others discussing similar issues.

I have found personally that when a Mayo Clinic department says they will send me offers of appointment times as openings arise when no appointments are available, they do send me appointment offers. So that function seems to work well, and I've gotten an appointment that way.

Some people will call the appointment number for a given department they want to get an appointment in every day to find out if any openings have come up.

It can be helpful if your primary care or gastroenterologist contacts Mayo Clinic to refer you. Have you had the chance to ask if one of your doctors will do that?

Thanks for your response, I have not asked one of my doctors to refer me there as Mayo does not require it, but maybe that's a good idea!
