@angelbutterfly4470, as you likely know, leptomeningeal disease occurs when your cancer has spread to the meninges. The meninges line the spinal cord and brain. Leptomeningeal disease is a form of metastatic cancer.

May I ask what type of cancer you originally had that spread to the brain? How are you doing?

I had 3 tumors in the meninges they said large b cell, I'm in surveillance mode but my dr says it will come back I've had a craniotomy chemo and radiation. My fatigue is really bad.

I found a teaspoon of MCT oil when I woke up (no food) helped with my fatigue. It took about 30 min to an hour to feel the difference.

Hi again
My rationale for doing this came from an article I read in Nature. It proposed that tiredness was due to the brain switching your energy from muscles to another body part that needed it more. MCT oil is known to produce ketone bodies rapidly in the liver, which can then be fuel for the brain. There are many papers describing this. My idea was that the teaspoon of MCT oil early in the morning, especially coming off the nightly fast, makes the brain think there is a surge of energy, so it won't need to divert energy from the muscles and you will feel less tired. Does that seem reasonable? It helped me.
Best wishes, Paul
