That you dearly Zebra for sharing your story with me/us. I am now reconsidering saline/silicon implants due to my health history/several issues. I am thinking just go with the bilateral mastectomy and be done with it! Hearing you went flat with no regrets is good to hear.
On line I have seen women flat and then they get some beautiful tattoos on their chest.
And I certainly would not mind wearing a prosthetics going out.

You mentioned you are prone to excess scar tissue. Me too. I get keloids which is one of the reasons I did not opt for reconstruction. I also have a rare neuropathy that sets me up for nerve damage and like you I just wanted to be done ASAP. I did get keloid scars but my dermatologist talked me into a series of kenalog injections into the scars and that flattened them out over time and took away the redness. Just FYI in case keloids are your issue.
