2 ReactionsI read the many comments, but I see few comments by the those who have never married. It seems that perhaps growing older as a single person is more desirable than having to pine over the lose of a loved one. Just pondering.

4 Reactionsls4mu I agree that it must be different as we age for a single person vs a married person.
It must be difficult to lose someone after being married for years. Like losing a "branch from a tree"
I have no family...never married, no siblings, no children so have been very independant all my life.
Are there any others is a similar situation? I would like to connect

5 ReactionsThat's very individual. Single or married, each has pros and cons. A married person will experience the grief but they will have had all those wonderful years together. That is if they were really wonderful. I believe, rather know, that marriage is one of those socially contagious things. To make it worse most people have no idea how their legal status changes the moment they do.
