I was told 3 years ago I had RA. My ANA and RA as well as Epstein Barr virus were all activated. The RA went away and the ANA is still monitored. So I did not have RA and I knew I didn't. The doctor was really rude. It is all part of this virus. It mimics many other autoimmune diseases, at least in the 3 years I have had it. Take it one day at a time. I know it is difficult emotionally and physically. If you need someone to listen, reach out to me or others. Hang in there.

Thank you for that reassurance of how it seems to mimic everything under the sun. Feel free to contact me as well, I know I don't have a true diagnosis yet and may not for some time but like you mention take each day as it is given to each of us! Thanks again!

Yes...I feel your pain and frustration. I'm going to be 83 years old this month and I am 4+ years post-covid. I also have the EBV in my system - ever since I was 12 years old.
For some real help and understanding, please do yourself a favor and visit the free YouTube Channels of Gez Medinger (he's one of us), and of the Bateman Horne Center - also visit Raelan Agle's channel and Healing Gems. There's no one answer. This is a complex condition and I'm using a 3-legged stool approach #1 Supplementation/Nutrition #2 Lifestyle change (no more multi-tasking) and #3 Rest/YogaNidra Meditation 2 to 3 times per day.
Big hug coming your way. My best to you.
