That’s an issue I think of quite often? What happens if I have to go to the hospital, the last time I got COVID I drove to the hospital not realizing this and they kept me in for 2 nights because of my asthma my husband because he came with me slept in the recliner in the room with me and ate my hospital food that I couldn’t digest. It’s scary to think of we have no children. The other problem I fear is if I go first I want to make sure he is able to stay in his home. That’s would be questionable although so far with me he seems okay but he would definitely fall apart if I was gone. Who would have thought of this when one one younger?

We are in the same boat--no children. I have done everything I can legally to make sure we are taken care of and not taken advantage of.
