Thank you for sharing. My bladder is full of cancer. I was denied due to the fact that the cancer is also in the pelvis area. So they wouldn't be able to get clear margins. And I have a tumor in my lung that has collapsed my lung and been debunking 4 times in a year. I was looking at going to Mayo for a second opinion, but I'm on Medicare and it will only cover 80% according to Mayo. The estimated cost of going there and the travel expenses are more than I can afford. I wish I could find someone willing to remove the bladder and provide a ureostomy at this point but the two urologist I've seen think it's to high a risk I guess. The stones are only in the bladder and they believe they are dead calcified tumor. So I wasn't sure the nephrostomy would stop them from passing but only divert the urine and make it more painful. I'm still looking for answers. I wish someone would send the fragments for biopsy/pathology. Some of the fragments are very large. Photo attached.
