@jonnyboy, it's hard to lose someone, even someone we're no longer in touch with. You have many unanswered questions about why and what actually happened. It's natural to seek answers. They may never be fully answered unfortunately.

I'm sorry you didn't have a chance to say goodbye. How might you say goodbye or honor her in a different way?

She got cremated so there is no grave… I was thinking of a remembrance with some other friends that knew her, to bring something you remembered her by and put it in the circle and each person say a prayer. But I don’t really know any one else I dated her ten years ago just started seeing her after her boyfriend at the time died of Covid next to her in her bed. Then everything went crazy. I had symptoms of long covid around when she said she heard ringing in her ears. But lost track of time somehow and that alcohol intolerant factor just plays in my head that might have killed her. She was only 36
