I had radiation near my thyroid 12 years ago so I'm on low dose of Synthroid. It does have side effects. Do you think Covid caused your low thyroid? I have Long Covid going into my third year so I have chronic fatigue. I hope the medication works for you.

Thank you for your question: might LC have caused my (tentative) hypothyroidism?

I just searched on the term “thyroid” in our LC support group comments. Some people suspect their hypothyroidism was caused by Covid. However, they report other co-occurring symptoms that might indicate another disease was the cause. Typical of LC issues: complicated!
