After a weeklong holiday from Arikayce, I restarted it yesterday. I was calmer and was breathing better. I rinsed and gargled with salt water after. No major loss of voice. I have a room air cleaner next to me while I am on Arikayce. The air cleaner changed color indicating it detected something in the air. After 45 mins it changed back to normal. Anybody know if the steam coming out is ok for the people in the room and also if the exhaled air affects pregnant people?

My air filter does the same with levalbuterol, budesonide and the inhaled meds for pseudomonas. I have just always assumed I should use these away from other people and pets.

One of my pulmonologists advised using arikayce in room with closed door so as not to "share" with others.
