Not understanding this post. After a transplant one can return to work within a few weeks! Why would disability be needed, unless there are complications?

I don’t know who told you that it’s a pretty major surgery I wish mine was only a few weeks, 2 years later I’m still not able to do a lot of things

After my liver transplant mine was a minimum of 6 months to a year I was in horrible shape and lost 65 lbs and couldn’t walk for 3 months without a walker, then I went back to work for 6 months and got injured and haven’t worked for over a year
