I have non diabetic neuropathy. I tried gabapentin taking the maximum amount which made me sleepy and foggy. It took at least a month to get off the medication. I started pregablin taking 50mg in the morning and 75mg in the evening, so far this regimen seems to work. I also take extra strength Tylenol both morning and evening to make it easier for me to exercise and sleep. It is really a shame that pregablin is a controlled substance especially when it is helping people with neuropathy.
