I had been feeling awesome but started drinking coffee daily and soda too. Got nausea about 2 weeks ago and can't get back to normal. Cut out coffee and soda. Do you think that was the cause? How long to get back on track since cut both beverages out again? Thanks! Mike

That happened to me because I drank too much strong coffee for a month. My doctor put me on famotidine 29mg. It worked.

Stay away from the coffee and soda. My oncologist said no alcohol, caffeine, and sugary drinks @ all to assist with remaining healthy and reducing the chance for reoccurrence of cancer. However, with digestion, my nutritionist states to cut out soda, dairy products, and high sugar foods/drinks period. But recommends I can drink coffee in moderation but black. So, I do drink black coffee on occasion without incident.
I do not like taking medication unless absolutely necessary.

@mikejjb123 - tagging a few members who may know about coffee and soda intake and then feeling nauseous @baguette @riflemanz64 @anniegk @pml @marlenec @allmanbrothered @seabright2001. They may have thoughts about whether the beverages were the cause. @ajnos also may have some input.

Mike - how have you been feeling?

You could try low acid coffee like healthwise brand and use unsweetened almond milk as a creamer. Almond milk is alkaline so you should have most of the acid neutralized. Almond milk is also non dairy. Cut out carbonated drinks and all booze. No smoking period. Don’t drink a lot of coffee maybe 2 cups.

Thank you all for your input!
