Hi...I'm 82, on Prolia now for about 7 years and I'm taking D3, Magnesium, E and want to know what type/strength of K2 is best. I don't take calcium supplements. I have osteoporosis and have fractured my spine several times. Ablation has been recommended to me for my lumbar area since even after kyphoplasty last year, I'm still in pain. All I take are 2 Tylenols each morning and no other meds.

It’s best to have your Vitamin D level checked first. Many people are deficient or at the low end of range. Educate yourself on the importance of this vitamin, not only for bones but many other things, including cancer. Once you know where you stand you can determine how much you need.

I like this one that is D3 and K2 combined. I take two a day.

I alternate my calcium between Citracal calcium citrate and New Chapter algae sourced calcium. Citracal has no vitamin K while New Chapter contains 45mcg of K2. (It also contains K3 but I couldn't find supplements of that.). To supplement K2 when I take Citracal, I take Solaray K2 which has 50mcg; this brand is highly rated on Amazon.
