Nancy,

Thank you for the detailed information! I will contact my eye doctor and ask to be put on Xdemvy.

I had a headache for months and didn't know what it was, but within two weeks of using Xdemvy it was gone. Demodex are not the commensal creatures that doctors are taught in med school. They are dangerous. If you have a Facebook account, you'll be shocked at how many support groups there are for Demodex. The one I use is has some red flowers in the image and has (Human) in parentheses.

Be prepared for the mites to die in your eyes and to get itchy from that, but it's a good thing. They will move to other places, like your ears, nose and hair (if they're not there already!), so I recommend getting a Tea Tree oil shampoo. I add 100% TTO to my shampoo, put on goggles and then pour it in my hair and immediately put on a shower cap. Then wait 10 minutes. The TTO kills them in 3 minutes, but I never took any chances and set a timer for 10. For my eyebrows, I put it on a cotton pad and lie down so it won't drip into my eyes, or I wear the goggles.

When you read what other people do, you'll be shocked at how much the mites have negatively impacted our lives. Too many people are being told by their doctors that they're hallucinating and refer them to therapists. Outrageous! Some dermatologists won't deal with them as patients, others are more informed and prescribe ivermectin, others (like mine) say they're commensal and aren't harmful.

Again, the medical community needs to wake up. There's another support group on this Mayo connect about Demodex you may want to join, but the Facebook ones are really active, have a moderator, and can be quite helpful.

Good luck!
