Helen, how dear of you to check in on me! ❤️ Your memory and math is pretty good, my friend: I finished chemo three years ago in December, and yes, I still return to Mayo for surveillance appointments. I mostly just lurk here 😉 How are you doing? I hope you remain well and want you to know how much I and others appreciate your work here on the patient portal. Thanks again for your kindness 🥰

@valentinzaz Oh, thank you so much for your good news. I'd so glad to hear that. If you don't mind I might tag you on occasion when I post to a new member who would be interested in your experiences and especially your support.

I'm doing good. I had that recurrence in 2021 and I faithfully go to all of my cancer surveillance appointments at Mayo Clinic. Nothing new has come up since 2021 and for that I'm very thankful.

I am eagerly awaiting Spring and the disappearance of the snow. I'm itching to get outside in my garden, get my hands in the soil, and breathe that fresh air.

I appreciate you for coming back and supporting others. ❤️ I really felt very alone on this cancer journey until I found Mayo Clinic Connect.
