Tips on minimizing withdrawal symptoms from Effexor (aka Venlafaxine)
I have been taking Effexor/Venlafaxine for years and tried to get off it a few times but each time I try to give up the chemical withdrawal symptoms are a horror story and I give up giving up. Anyone got any tips or tried and tested strategies? Thank you

What is cod mean ? Last reduction was 4 months ago from 225 mg to 150. Presently on 150. I don’t think will go lower if I’m to feel this way even though I’m feeling better on and off.
I was using 2500 mg a month of cbd. Cost $100 a month. Now I just make my own.
Trust your gut. Pause for a couple of months and see how you feel. Stay on 150 mg. It sounds like you are doing a great job. Hang in there.
CBD is made from the male plant of hemp. It has lots of healing qualities.
Google it.
I was ordering from Lazarus Naturals out of Oregon.
Thank you new friend for your input......such a blessing ! I will right now look for info on hemp. 🙏
It will make it soooo much easier for you. What state are you in???
I’m from Ontario Canada . Can you take CBD while on Effexor 150 mg ?
Be proactive, google it. Gain all the knowledge of what is happening in your body. I know you are a smart cookie. Smiling at you.
Type in that exact question.

I’m curious, how did you go from 225 to150? In one 75mg drop (33.33%)
Jake
For many years I was taking (1) 150 mg ... in the morning and (1) 150 mg .....at night. = 300 mg
Then I took (1) 150 mg ..... in the morning and (1) 75 mg at night. = 225 mg for 2 months (April & May 2019)
Then I let go of the 75 mg at night and stayed on (1) a day in the morning 150 mg ( June to now Oct. 2019)
@suzannetherese
That was a large cut, 33.33%. You should have cut it by at least half if not more, depending on how long you were on it to lower your chances of withdrawal symptoms. CBD oil probably isn’t necessary if you decrease slowly enough. It takes a long time to come off but coming off withdrawal free or nearly withdrawal free is worth it.
