There is no cure for diabetes. Diabetes is more complicated than just your A1C number. Many people have a variety of problems like heart disease (high lipids) and various neuopathies. Due to insulin resistance hard to lose weight. You many not have been a true diabetic.

@lewin you are correct about there being no cure for diabetes (not yet anyways). You are also sadly correct about the many complications of diabetes. But we are here to share our own stories, to encourage each other and give hope. We are not here to diagnose or prescribe. Have you experienced some of the complications you mentioned? How can we support you?
